Kelsey Meeks Duncan to be Honored by Louisiana Appleseed

Kelsey Meeks Duncan has been chosen as one of several honorees at Louisiana Appleseed's Good Apple Gala for her work on a project seeking to ensure that homeless children have access to public education. The gala will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at The Chicory.

Louisiana Appleseed recruits professionals to donate pro bono time to solve problems at their root cause. Their goal is to advance social justice by effecting change at the policy, or systemic, level. Their projects seek to increase access to education, opportunity, and justice.
