Overview
Jordan clerked for five federal judges, served his state as an assistant solicitor general, and worked on critical motions and appeals at an Am Law 50 firm.
On the commercial side, Jordan has written briefs in cases involving partnership disputes, trademark infringement, theft of trade secrets, breaches of restrictive covenants, employment discrimination, defamation, and other business torts.
On the public-law side, Jordan has first-chaired an expedited appeal before the U.S. Fifth Circuit, briefed and orally argued motions in constitutional and Administrative Procedure Act cases, and developed strategy in high-profile cases involving requests for extraordinary or expedited relief.
Jordan most recently had the privilege of being Judge Brandon S. Long’s first clerk.

Enrolled in habeas appeal after a unanimous panel affirmed an adverse judgment, won rehearing, and persuaded the panel majority to withdraw its original opinion and replace it with a published opinion reversing the adverse judgment and rendering judgment for client (U.S. Fifth Circuit, 2025)

Briefed, orally argued, and won a Rule 12(b)(1) motion dismissing a First Amendment challenge to a Louisiana law (Eastern District of Louisiana, 2023)

Briefed, orally argued, and won an expedited motion to transfer multi-state subpoena-related litigation (Northern District of Georgia, 2023)
